Israel is experiencing a crisis of identity politics. Increased political polarization, five consecutive election campaigns, and a judicial reform that tore the nation apart have driven Israel into an 'us versus them' reality. These factors have led to a situation in which Israel's existence as a Jewish, democratic, liberal, and united state is threatened.  Our horrifying wake-up call came in the form of a murderous terrorist attack that left us all in pain and shock, spiraling into a multi-front war. Increasingly, it's not just the youth who understand: Israel needs to chart a new course urgently.

The youth understand that they are now being handed the bill for the destruction of the state. The bill addresses issues such as the inability to own a home, the lack of equal rights, the rising cost of living, and the lack of security over the nation's neglected territories. Youth were sent to pay the price for the current leadership's negligence in Shuja'iyya and Rafah. In this moment, we realized it was time to shout: those who failed have no place in leadership-not in politics, not in the military, not in government. We will not pay the price unless we are actively involved.

OUR

TEAM

A team of talented young people from across Israeli society leads the Youth Movement in Israel, bringing a wide range of experience and skills to the cause. Among us there are social and business entrepreneurs, young elected officials in local authorities, and people with a background in social activism aimed at advancing the interests of Israeli youth. The Youth Movement in Israel aims to be a home for all young people who want to promote the interests of the younger generation and fundamentally change the system that has led us to where we are today.

in the Action

Only we can reshuffle the deck and dismantle the outdated definitions of right and left, based on a sane, liberal right-wing identity. In order to accomplish this, we will establish a nationwide youth movement with a clear vision and concrete goals. As of now, the movement includes approximately 20,000 young people and is expected to grow to approximately 350,000 by the end of the year.

In order to achieve the vision, we will take three main actions:

Fieldwork and social activities

will unite young people around the idea of taking responsibility, developing practical solutions to the country's core issues, and spreading the call to change how the game is played.

Legislation and policy

that will benefit Israel's young generation and hold politicians accountable when they vote against the State of Israel's future.

Education

future generations through pre-military academies and social frameworks, so that young Israelis understand the importance of getting involved in key decisions.
